List of services

(a) Implementation of efficient irrigation and water management programs on surface land through the construction of irrigation infrastructure, construction of underground and surface irrigation canals for development of underground and surface water resources with the aim of development of micro-irrigation.

(b) Ensuring maximum use of ground water during Boro season by using power driven and floating pumps along with increasing water availability by renovating canals etc., excavation/re-excavation and construction of irrigation infrastructure.

(c) Survey of underground/surface water resources including irrigation machines, irrigation areas, monitoring of water level by means of auto-recorder using modern advanced methods. Testing and preserving water quality through modern laboratories and providing information services through various publications.

(d) Data collection, analysis, forecasting and prevention advice on salt water intrusion.
